About the role#
The HNHF Intern for the High School Career Academy assists with projects and programs that support the strategic goals of the hospital. You will work closely with your manager to solve problems and suggest improvements for the department. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, data work, and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze data, run queries, and format reports.
- Build presentation materials for projects and new initiatives.
- Perform office coordination and administrative duties.
- Attend weekly group development sessions and participate in intern events.
- Apply critical thinking to solve problems and improve business processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in high school, or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
- Proficiency with MS Office software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well in teams and maintain composure while managing multiple tasks.
- Sound judgment and logical thinking skills.
- A positive presence when interacting with staff, vendors, and physicians.
- Previous work experience in the medical field is preferred.
