About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support strategic initiatives at Nationwide Children's Hospital. You will work on projects that contribute to the organization's goals while gaining experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Gather and analyze data, run queries, and format reports.
- Build presentation materials for projects and data findings.
- Perform administrative tasks and office coordination.
- Attend weekly group development sessions and hospital intern events.
- Apply operational excellence techniques to solve problems.
- Collaborate with your manager and share recommendations to improve business units.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in high school or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
- Previous work experience in the medical field.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in teams and maintain professional composure.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and apply logical, critical thought processes.
- A positive presence when interacting with staff, vendors, and physicians.
