About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to assist with day-to-day research activities at Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety. You will work on projects covering topics such as digital health, health information technology, and chronic condition management. This role operates under close supervision to support various research goals.
What you'll do#
- Recruit and enroll participants into research studies.
- Engage with patients during intake and follow-up visits.
- Collect research data following established study protocols.
- Enter data into research databases and information systems.
- Conduct quality assurance to ensure data accuracy.
- Perform literature reviews and present synthesized results.
- Help prepare project deliverables and attend team meetings.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well within a research team.
- Proficiency in entering and tracking data accurately.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred background in Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Data Science, or Statistics.
