About the role#
The Student Assistant provides clerical and customer support for various university areas. You will work under the supervision of a department manager or their designee. This is a part-time position capped at 20 hours per week, which may include evening and weekend shifts.
What you'll do#
- Handle clerical tasks such as answering phones, photocopying, filing, data entry, and courier services.
- Use word processing software to complete daily assignments.
- Help develop and implement university activities.
- Adapt your skills to support different departments and colleges as needed.
- Complete other related tasks as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Baptist Health Sciences University.
- Completion of the student worker application.
- Basic proficiency in university word processing software.
- Ability to work across various university departments.
- Willingness to perform general office support tasks.

- Location: Memphis, Tennessee.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rolling basis, up to 20 hours per week.
