    About the role#

    The Intern-Nurse II 3 North role at Baptist Memorial Health Care provides technical assistance and patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. This position is designed for nursing graduates awaiting licensure to gain experience and support quality patient outcomes within a clinical setting.

    What you'll do#

    • Assess patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
    • Contribute to, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
    • Assist nursing staff with direct patient care and service functions.
    • Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and clinical leadership.
    • Engage in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned goals.

    What you'll need#

    • Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
    • BLS certification (must be obtained within 14 days of hire).
    • Proficiency in computer use.
    • Ability to maintain this intern status for no longer than 90 days post-graduation.
