About the role#
This internship is for a Nurse Intern II in the Med/Surg Observation unit. You will provide technical assistance and patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to support quality patient outcomes and assist nursing staff.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Contribute to, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
- Provide direct patient care and general assistance to the nursing team.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and build clinical leadership knowledge.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned goals.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program while awaiting licensure.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of your hire date.
- Computer literacy.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II category is limited to 90 days from the date of graduation.
