About the role#
As a Radiology Student Technologist, you will perform imaging procedures and treatments to assist in the diagnosis and care of patients. This role focuses on applying radiologic theory and clinical standards within a hospital setting while working toward your professional certification.
What you'll do#
- Apply radiologic principles and theory to select appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans following established hospital protocols.
- Document patient care and procedures in compliance with hospital policies.
- Maintain equipment, treatment rooms, and work areas to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities to maintain consistent standards of care.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved or accredited Radiology Program.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
