Technologist-Radiology Student

About the role#

As a Radiology Student Technologist at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will perform imaging procedures and treatments to assist in the diagnosis and care of patients. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position in Memphis, Tennessee.

What you'll do#

• Apply radiologic principles and theory to select the appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans following established hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by keeping equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities to maintain high standards of patient care.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an approved or accredited Radiology Program.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 14 to 30 days of hire).
• Academic background in Biomedical Engineering, Health Administration, or Nursing.
