About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term at Baptist Memorial Health Care. The role focuses on performing imaging procedures and treatments to assist in the diagnosis and care of patients.
What you'll do#
- Apply radiologic principles and theory to select the appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develop and implement procedure and treatment plans following established hospital protocols.
- Manage required documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Maintain equipment, treatment rooms, and work areas to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities and complete assigned goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an approved or accredited Radiology program.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Academic background in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Health Administration.
