About the role#
As an Intern-Nurse II, you will work under the direction of a registered nurse to provide technical assistance and patient care. This role focuses on supporting a defined group of patients to help achieve quality outcomes. You will also assist with service functions and communication for staff, patients, and guests.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Provide direct patient care and support nursing staff.
- Participate in activities to improve health care delivery.
- Build your knowledge of clinical leadership.
- Complete assigned goals and engage in ongoing educational activities.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure.
- Computer literacy skills.
- BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
- Note that the Nurse Intern II category is limited to a period of 90 days following graduation.
Location & details#
- Jackson, Mississippi.
- This is a full-time, on-site position.
- The internship term is rolling.
