About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for nursing graduates who are awaiting licensure. You will work on-site in a Med Surg unit, providing technical assistance and patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The role is designed to help you build your clinical knowledge and leadership skills as you transition into professional practice.
What you'll do#
- Assess patients and contribute to their care plans.
- Carry out care plans and evaluate patient progress.
- Assist the nursing staff with daily patient care tasks.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving health care delivery.
- Engage in ongoing educational activities and work toward specific assigned goals.
- Develop your understanding of clinical leadership.
What you'll need#
- You must be a graduate of a registered nursing program and currently awaiting licensure. This position is limited to 90 days following your graduation date.
- Basic computer literacy.
- BLS certification, which must be obtained within 14 days of your hire date.
