About the role#
This internship provides exposure to government reimbursement, revenue analysis, and financial management within a healthcare organization. You will gain experience across our operations in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
What you'll do#
- Research and analyze patient accounts to ensure accurate accounting.
- Assist with the filing of external governmental reports.
- Gather data to support month end closing entries.
- Work on projects focused on revenue optimization.
- Complete assigned goals and tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, with substantial coursework completed or are a graduate student.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and other software tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and effective time management.
- An interest in working for a mission based community organization.
