About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting, offering exposure to the same projects and processes as our associate-level hires. You will work alongside professionals at all levels to gain insight into the field while participating in training programs designed to build your skills and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension prep, and projections.
- Research tax regulations to stay current and build tax planning skills at both the federal and state levels.
- Collaborate with team members on client projects across various industries through meetings, chat, and email.
- Develop technical skills in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
- Work toward CPA certification with the support of the firm through provided prep materials and classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- A preference for candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The internship takes place on-site in Century City, California, or Dallas, Texas.
- The program term is Summer 2027, with a start date of June 14, 2027.
