About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in public accounting and consulting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels to complete project work, participate in training, and engage in client-facing tasks. This role provides exposure to the field through real-world assignments and interactive programming.
What you'll do#
- Perform tests and procedures to collect evidence for international organization reporting standards.
- Assist with fieldwork for SOC audits, IT General Controls, ISO Assessments, SOX, Internal Audits, and Agreed Upon Procedures.
- Interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues.
- Learn the client system and control environment to understand its impact on customer users.
- Evaluate process risks and determine the effectiveness of financial and IT controls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
