About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels to gain insight into the field. You will participate in trainings and activities designed to build your skills and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the performance and documentation of audit procedures.
- Prepare workpapers to support audit, review, and other engagements.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team.
- Interpret and analyze financial data.
- Communicate findings and issues to the engagement team.
- Research and analyze client, industry, and technical matters.
- Engage with client personnel and the engagement team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- A plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028 is strongly preferred.
