About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting and consulting. You will work alongside professionals at all levels, gaining exposure to the same tasks as our associate-level hires. This role is a full-time, paid position that includes training and interactive programming to help you build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Participate in fieldwork for client engagements, including SOC audits, IT General Controls, ISO Assessments, SOX, and Internal Audits.
- Evaluate process risks, develop tests for key controls, and determine their effectiveness.
- Identify and resolve audit issues through client interaction.
- Gain exposure to financial and IT audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Learn how a client's system and control environment impacts their users.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- A plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028 is strongly preferred.
