About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Woodland Hills, California. You will work on-site and gain experience in public accounting by working alongside professionals at various levels. The role provides exposure to audit engagements and includes participation in training and development activities.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and the preparation of workpapers.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team to support client needs.
- Interpret and analyze financial data.
- Communicate findings and issues to the engagement team.
- Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
- Engage with client personnel and the engagement team to build relationships.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028.
