About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels to gain insight into the field. The role offers exposure similar to our associate-level hires, including participation in interactive programming, training sessions, and skill-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including drafting returns, quarterly estimates, vouchers, and projections.
- Research and track changes in tax regulations to develop federal and state tax planning skills.
- Collaborate with team members on client projects across diverse industries through meetings, chat, and email.
- Build proficiency in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
- Work toward CPA certification with support from the firm, including access to prep materials and classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
