About the role#
Arcadis is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern or Co-op to join our Environment Business Line. This position offers exposure to a wide variety of civil and environmental engineering projects within a consulting environment. You will work on multiple assignments at once and assist project teams with land development tasks related to remediation system designs.
What you'll do#
- Perform civil engineering design for soil remediation and stormwater management.
- Complete hydraulic and hydrologic evaluations.
- Develop design reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Assist with design calculations for bulk earthwork, hydraulics, and pipe burial.
- Handle task coordination, data compilation, and interpretation.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews.
- Write reports and prepare construction drawings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, or programming is preferred.

- Compensation: Paid position with a salary range of $16.50 to $35.00 per hour.
