About the role#
Arcadis is hiring a Water Engineer Co-op for our Water Business Line in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site as part of a team that protects natural environments and water resources.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate, plan, and design projects for water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance.
- Conduct site visits, perform sampling, and analyze water quality.
- Evaluate technologies and troubleshoot plant processes.
- Assess and develop sustainability and resilience projects for municipalities and utilities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and audio-visual materials for clients.
- Use digital tools including SharePoint, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Power BI, and Augmented Reality.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Prior internship or coursework focused on water, wastewater, or water resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members across different locations.
