About the role#
Arcadis is hiring an Environmental Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Novi, Michigan. This role focuses on environmental remediation and restoration projects within our Resilience Environment business area. You will work in a team environment that emphasizes technical support and professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Provide field and office support for site investigations, including the collection of soil, water, and vapor samples.
- Assist project teams with the operation of remediation systems.
- Perform design calculations for the selection of treatment technologies and prepare process design drawings.
- Support systems design, hydraulic evaluations, and the development of design reports, construction documents, and specifications.
- Help with air emissions characterization, quantification, air permitting, and compliance tasks.
- Engage in office duties such as data compilation, task coordination, and report writing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A highly organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
