About the role#
This summer internship is based in our Financial and Planning Group. You will work with the Consulting Business Group to support energy sector projects. The role is full-time and follows a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in the office three days per week.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Consulting Business Group to expand your knowledge of engineering and project financing.
- Prepare consulting proposals, marketing materials, technical presentations, and white papers.
- Support project teams with due diligence for power generation, power system planning, and feasibility studies.
- Track and evaluate project activities, progress, and data.
- Develop technical reports and deliverables, such as financial models, asset transaction documents, and capital budgets.
- Provide technical support to clients including utilities, developers, investors, and technology companies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- Completion of at least six semesters or equivalent quarters.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- We do not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.
- Experience in power systems, renewable energy, battery storage, or financial modeling is valued, as is previous internship experience or relevant M.B.A. coursework.
