About the role#
Arcadis is looking for a Legal Intern to join the Mobility group in New York. This role supports legal and business teams working on transportation and infrastructure programs, such as rail, transit, and roadway projects. You will gain experience in legal research, contract review, and project risk management.
What you'll do#
- Research legal and regulatory requirements for public procurement, construction, and infrastructure projects.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, internal policies, and project documents.
- Help identify and document legal and commercial risks for Mobility projects.
- Organize materials for project reviews, audits, claims, and records requests.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and business stakeholders to track follow-up actions.
- Maintain confidential legal files, research notes, and project trackers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Juris Doctor program or recent graduation from an accredited law school.
- Interest in infrastructure, public contracting, construction, or corporate law.
- Strong writing, analytical, and document-review skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and legal research tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Compensation: $25.00 to $37.00 per hour.
