About the role#
As a Retail Communications Co-op Student, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of communications to over 80 stores across North America. You will work within the Retail Operational Solutions team to distill complex information into clear, actionable updates. This role offers hands-on experience in communication strategy, copywriting, and stakeholder management.
What you'll do#
- Write and edit communications for retail teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather and validate information.
- Draft and publish content using the Zipline platform.
- Analyze engagement metrics to identify ways to improve message effectiveness.
- Propose new communication formats such as video, podcasts, and visual storytelling.
- Use tools including Microsoft Office, project management software, and AI platforms like Microsoft Copilot and Claude AI.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a post-secondary institution with a focus on Communications or a related field.
- Exceptional written communication skills and a strong interest in editing.
- Strong organizational habits and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and how they apply to communications.
- Prior retail experience is considered a bonus.
Location & details#
- This position is based in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
- The role follows a hybrid work model with flexibility between office and home.
- This is a full-time, eight-month position from January 4, 2026, to August 13, 2026.
