About the role#
As a People Data Analyst Co-op Student, you will join the Global People Analytics team. You will help transform workforce data into practical intelligence for People & Culture partners. This position offers exposure to people science, data storytelling, and automation tools while supporting the employee experience.
What you'll do#
- Apply statistical methods and data science techniques to explore workforce data, identify trends, and detect patterns.
- Contribute to predictive modeling, segmentation, correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing.
- Experiment with AI and automation tools to improve analytics discovery.
- Translate data findings into clear, visual stories for stakeholders.
- Assist with research design, including framing questions and developing practical recommendations.
- Handle workforce data with a focus on privacy, fairness, quality, and trust.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a co-op eligible program related to data science, statistics, business analytics, computer science, psychology, economics, or HR.
- Experience with statistics, Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
- Ability to turn complex analysis into clear visuals, notes, or stories.
- A curious mindset regarding people, data, and patterns.
- Comfort with applying statistical methods to predict outcomes.
- A thoughtful approach to managing sensitive information.
- An interest in learning new tools and solving problems through data.
Location & details#
- Location: North Vancouver, BC.
- Term: Eight months, from January 4, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $42,100 - $55,100, based on year of study and experience.
