About the role#
As a Warehouse Automation Processes Co-Op, you will join our Distribution Centre team to analyze and document logistics processes. You will support the supply chain by providing data input and feedback to help identify improvement opportunities. You will gain hands-on experience with large-scale warehouse automation and data analytics while working with systems like SAP S4/EWM, Power BI, and the Autostore Exacta portal.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layouts.
- Collect and analyze data across multiple systems to drive improvement initiatives.
- Create and revise detailed process flow charts and standard operating procedures.
- Solve problems and develop corrective action plans for non-conformances.
- Establish and track KPI metrics based on system output.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through data visualizations.
- Support change management, process stabilization, and operational productivity initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Industrial, Mechanical, Process, or Textile Engineering, or Operations/Manufacturing Management.
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of 6S and LEAN manufacturing methodologies.
- Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration.
- Flexibility and adaptability when facing ambiguity.
- A focus on identifying root causes and developing effective solutions.
- A commitment to doing what is right and a passion for getting outside.

- Location: New Westminster, British Columbia.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 (January 4, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Status: Paid position.
