About the role#
As a Supply Chain Engineering Intern, you will work with our Supply Chain and Engineering teams to source the components and materials required to build our reactor systems. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and procurement, offering hands-on experience with technical sourcing and supplier development challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing activities for technical components and materials.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering teams on technical procurement.
- Assist with supplier development efforts.
- Translate engineering requirements into actionable sourcing and procurement plans.
- Contribute to hands-on supply chain projects that support our engineering work.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, entering your Junior or Senior year.
- Prior internship experience or over one year of significant project team, laboratory, or research experience.
- A GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Involvement in a university club or organization, with preference for leadership roles.
- Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work across different departments and teams.
- Capacity to work independently and take initiative.
Location & details#
- Location: Torrance, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: $34 per hour.
