About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with the daily operations of an agronomy hub. You will spend 70 percent of your time at the location and 30 percent in the fields. The role focuses on inventory management, equipment maintenance, and learning the business side of agronomy operations.
What you'll do#
- Maintain facility buildings and equipment.
- Fill anhydrous ammonia tanks during the side dress season.
- Manage and track seed and chemical inventory.
- Work toward obtaining an Ag CDL.
- Study applicator licensure and the spraying process.
- Examine how operational decisions affect business profit and loss.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, preferably as an agronomy junior or senior.
- Previous field or agronomy experience.
- Ability to work outdoors for long periods and perform heavy lifting.
- A valid driver license, a good driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
- Commitment to all safety procedures when handling chemicals and pesticides.

- This is a part-time, on-site, paid position with a rolling term.
