    About the role#

    As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will work directly with the engineers building the Bullfrog system. This is a full-time, hands-on role where you contribute to real projects that impact national security. You will work on-site in Austin during the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Translate high-level mission requirements for Bullfrog into clear, testable specifications.
    • Manage systems integration across mechanical, electrical, software, and controls to understand how requirements create constraints between subsystems.
    • Assist with verification planning and test support, including designing test approaches and reviewing results.
    • Perform engineering analysis through modeling, simulation, or margin and budget analysis to ground trade-offs in data.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Project experience or coursework in requirements definition, verification planning, or systems integration.
    • Ability to perform engineering analysis using modeling, simulation, or data tools.
    • A structured approach to problem-solving and an interest in how subsystem interfaces and assumptions affect system performance.

    • Location: Austin, Texas (on-site).
    • Term: Summer 2027 (10-12 weeks).
    • Status: Paid, full-time internship.
