About the role#
We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Austin. This role offers hands-on experience across procurement, planning, supplier management, inventory, and logistics. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to support production and company growth.
What you'll do#
- Support daily supply chain activities including procurement, planning, and inventory management.
- Assist the team with purchase orders, order tracking, and supplier follow-up.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
- Monitor material availability to identify potential shortages or production risks.
- Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems.
- Perform inventory analysis, cycle counts, and accuracy initiatives.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and supplier performance metrics.
- Assist with sourcing tasks like supplier research and cost comparisons.
- Help with production planning and material readiness for upcoming builds.
- Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to track changing material requirements.
- Support new product introduction and supply chain readiness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing lead times and improving material flow.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and present project results to the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with data to identify trends or discrepancies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard productivity tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a desire to take ownership of assignments.
- Strong interest in manufacturing, robotics, aerospace, defense, or automotive industries.
- Previous internship or work experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, or logistics is preferred.
- Experience with Excel functions such as PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and formulas.
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems like Odoo, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Familiarity with purchasing, production planning, or supplier management.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
