About the role#
This internship provides entry-level professional administrative and program support to Material Program Management and Integrated Project Teams. You will assist with supply-chain coordination, data management, reporting, and meeting activities while developing your knowledge of material planning processes and systems.
What you'll do#
- Perform professional administrative work and entry-level staff duties in support of functional areas.
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications.
- Prepare routine reports with guidance.
- Type and word-process draft documents and electronic information.
- Assist in arranging meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
- Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate successfully orally and in writing.
- Ability to efficiently utilize standard office software and computer equipment.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance.
