About the role#
This is a part-time student internship based in the Enterprise Corporate - People & Culture Workforce Development department. You will work 20 hours per week at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is paid and open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate, master's, or postgraduate program.
What you'll do#
- Visit patients and families and assist with research projects or studies.
- Provide administrative support including answering phones and maintaining data.
- Prepare documents such as letters, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Analyze data and create various reports.
- Assist with general office tasks like data entry and filing.
- Communicate with staff at all levels and the public.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, master's, or postgraduate program.
- A GED or equivalent.
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Physical ability to lift 10 pounds to shoulder height, reach overhead, and push wheelchairs or supply carts.
