About the role#
The Sales Intern role involves supporting the sales process through lead generation, customer retention, and promoting new offerings. You will work alongside the area sales team and local Branch Managers to manage customer relationships and drive sales performance within the assigned territory.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the sales cycle including creating awareness of new products and qualifying leads.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
- Coordinate with the e-business team to help customers set up accounts on the company website.
- Submit required sales and activity reports, such as call reports and prospect lists, on time.
- Work with Branch Managers to promote sales and manage customer needs at retail locations.
- Maintain focus on workplace safety and assist customers with product safety training.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university majoring in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a similar discipline.
- Preference for third or fourth year students.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google suite applications including Gmail, Sheets, and Docs.
- Ability to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
