About the role#
The Basketball Operations Intern supports the department with daily administrative tasks, departmental projects, and operational needs. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Milwaukee. You will report to the Director of Basketball Operations and assist across various areas including team operations, analytics, scouting, and equipment.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily operations at the practice facility, such as restocking supplies and distributing mail.
- Prepare daily NBA and G League reports, including depth charts, free agent lists, and salary sheets.
- Support the scouting department with ticketing, credentials, and database management.
- Assist executives with expense reconciliation, guest escorting, and video preparation.
- Provide logistical support and transportation for players and staff.
- Book travel arrangements and complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in basketball, business, law, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel on short notice.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks like walking and climbing stairs.
