About the role#
The Ticket Operations Intern assists the team with game night customer service, inventory management, and internal ticketing requests. You will work at the Delta Center and team offices to support Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth events. This role involves learning the fundamentals of sports management, hospitality, and service strategies. You will work up to 29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support game night customer service operations.
- Manage ticket inventory and assist with internal requests.
- Build premium and rental deals within the CRM and ticketing system.
- Deploy and manage ticket scanning devices.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with guests and staff.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, specifically Google Sheets and Google Docs.
- A strong attention to detail and interest in the sports industry.
- Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds and stand or walk for long periods.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Sociology.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, on-site internship based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Work takes place at the Delta Center and the Zions Bank Basketball Campus.
- The position follows a rolling schedule.
