About the role#
EL1 Sports is hiring a Baseball Operations Intern to work on-site at our Dubuque facility. This is a paid, full-time position that runs from August 31 through January 1. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, professional, and have a genuine interest in baseball.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors as they enter the facility and provide directions.
- Provide tours of the facility when requested.
- Manage incoming inquiries and log resolutions.
- Assist instructors with the setup and operation of training technologies.
- Maintain the reception and restroom areas to ensure they stay clean and organized.
- Handle incoming mail and deliveries.
- Help manage the schedule for staff, programs, and camps.
- Work with the General Manager on apparel and equipment orders.
What you'll need#
- A positive attitude and an energetic, friendly approach to customer service.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong interest in baseball or softball.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Kinesiology, or Psychology.
