About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site Baseball Operations Internship located in Dubuque, Iowa. The role runs from August 31 to January 1.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors, answer questions, and provide directions within the EL1 Sports Facility.
- Manage incoming inquiries and document resolutions in the customer inquiry log.
- Provide facility tours and alert staff to scheduled meetings.
- Assist instructors with the setup and operation of training technologies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of reception and restroom areas.
- Handle the distribution of mail and deliveries.
- Coordinate schedules for facility programs, camps, clinics, and mobile training.
- Partner with the General Manager on equipment, apparel, and uniform orders.
What you'll need#
- A passion for and knowledge of baseball and softball.
- Professional, reliable, and energetic demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current enrollment or background in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Kinesiology, or Psychology is preferred.
