About the role#
EL1 Sports is looking for interns to support our training facilities during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 seasons. This role provides hands-on experience with the systems and data used to support athlete development. You will work directly with coaches and staff to manage equipment and ensure technology is ready for training sessions.
What you'll do#
- Set up, calibrate, operate, and break down sports performance technology.
- Support athlete testing, assessments, and data collection sessions.
- Upload, organize, and maintain athlete performance data.
- Troubleshoot technology and equipment issues as they arise.
- Maintain equipment inventory across assigned facilities.
- Assist with software and hardware updates.
- Help develop internal technology processes and documentation.
- Gain exposure to how performance data informs sports training.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in sports technology, sports science, kinesiology, data analytics, information technology, or a related field.
- Interest in sports performance, athlete development, and data.
- Ability to learn new software and hardware platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Comfort taking initiative and working independently.
- Reliable transportation to travel between facilities.
- Interest in baseball or softball.
- Previous playing or coaching experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time, on-site internship.
- Positions are available in two regions: North (Seattle and Redmond, WA) and South (Tacoma and Puyallup, WA).
- You must be able to travel between facilities within your assigned region.
- Work involves standing for extended periods and moving, setting up, and breaking down equipment.
