About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in warehouse operations. You will work alongside staff to understand our business and learn about the daily functions of a large-scale retail operation. This is a full-time, 10-week program consisting of 40 hours per week. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations and collaborate with warehouse staff.
- Assist leadership with training and administrative tasks.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with inventory control duties.
- Participate in Waste Walks and Seven Step Problem Solving.
- Prepare a report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations to share with ALDI executives.
- Attend team meetings and company trainings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Logistics.
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional manner.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under strict deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.

- Compensation: $28.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime.
