About the role#
This is a 10-week summer internship program based in Frederick, Maryland. You will work 40 hours per week in a full-time capacity. The role offers hands-on experience working alongside district managers to learn how we run multi-million-dollar grocery businesses. Successful completion of this program may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn store operations by shadowing managers and observing the Customer Satisfaction Pyramid.
- Assist with administrative tasks including payroll, sales books, memo verification, and invoices.
- Support the hiring process by participating in interviews and orientations.
- Help with inventory management and store events like store resets or grand openings.
- Prepare an operational report and presentation for company executives.
- Demonstrate professional standards by meeting objectives on time and following company guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Communications, or Human Resources.
- Ability to build rapport, trust, and open communication with store personnel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and materials.
- Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize work under strict deadlines.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work cooperatively within a team.

- Pay: $28.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime.
