About the role#
The District Manager Intern program offers hands-on experience within our retail operations. You will work directly with district managers to understand the daily functions of our stores. This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship program. Successful completion may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Shadow store managers and manager trainees to learn fundamental store operations.
- Assist with administrative tasks including payroll, sales book maintenance, memo verification, and invoice processing.
- Participate in hiring processes, including conducting interviews and leading orientations.
- Conduct customer walks and store tours to learn about the Customer Satisfaction Pyramid.
- Assist with inventory management and store resets.
- Prepare a formal report and presentation on an operational area for ALDI executives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Human Resources.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and professional initiative.

- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime.
