About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Co-op, you will gain practical experience through hands-on projects. You will work under the direction of an Engineering Manager to support daily operations and contribute to project completion. This role offers an opportunity to apply your technical skills while developing your professional capabilities within an automation machinery manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective coordination and timely project completion.
- Use computer programs and engineering software to perform technical operations and analyses.
- Conduct engineering analyses and provide related data, documentation, and information.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and research solutions throughout project lifecycles.
- Use AI tools and emerging technologies to solve engineering problems and improve automation system performance.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Location & details#
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site or hybrid.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an expected hourly rate between $20 and $34.
- Note: No relocation assistance or stipend is provided. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office and manage their own commuting arrangements.
