About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, supporting the Automation Power Reliability team. This role provides an opportunity to gain vocational experience while contributing to plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Draft and improve assembly instructions for various plant production areas.
- Create drawings of work areas.
- Establish kanbans for wire, chute, and production consumables.
- Improve manufacturing processes, performance verification, and methods with clear acceptance criteria.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in automated production, industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Project and Excel.
- Good knowledge of AutoCad.
- Ability to read drawings and electrical diagrams.
- Mandatory fluency in French.
- Experience with Excel scripting and programming is an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical standards such as ANSI, CSA, IEEE, and UL is an asset.
