About the role#
The Software Quality Assurance team validates that our products meet feature specifications and quality standards. You will learn our product sets to conduct thorough testing across various components, including software, firmware, and hardware.
What you'll do#
- Verify the reliability, functionality, and performance of our SDKs, APIs, and higher-level applications.
- Test our product drivers, firmware, and hardware.
- Develop test plans and modify or validate test cases for hardware and software components.
- Document your results in TestRail.
- Track functional and performance issues using Jira.
- Work with internal teams to meet quality objectives.
- Help engineering and support groups reproduce and solve product issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a 1st or 2nd year student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A GPA of at least 2.9/4.3 or 2.6/4.0.
- Familiarity with PC hardware peripherals and comfort changing PC components.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Basic understanding of batch/bash scripting and networking.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to learn independently and start tasks without constant supervision.
