About the role#
This 12-week internship provides professional, technical, and sales training in both classroom and on-the-job settings. You will join a cohort of peers to learn outcome-based selling. Interns are placed in one of our field sales offices across Canada. You may work in one of three tracks: Business Development, Account Management, or Technical Consulting.
What you'll do#
- Connect with customers regarding our products and services through phone, email, and online meetings.
- Build a network of professional contacts and customers.
- Develop and qualify new revenue opportunities.
- Create and implement sales strategies to meet business goals.
- Communicate the benefits of our technology portfolio to customers.
- Explain complex information in a simple way.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree at an accredited college or university.
- Your expected graduation date is December 2027 or beyond.
- You have legal authorization to work in Canada. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
- We prefer students pursuing degrees in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- This role follows a hybrid work model. You are expected to work from a Rockwell location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
- Locations include Brampton, Cambridge, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Delta.
- Compensation ranges from $18 to $32 CAD per hour, based on your skills, education, and experience.
