    About the role#

    As an Electrical Design Engineer Intern, you will gain practical experience by working on various engineering projects. You will support ABB operations, participate in team meetings, and collaborate with colleagues to meet project timelines. This role offers an opportunity to apply your technical skills while learning from experienced team members.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with teams to support project completion and ensure effective coordination.
    • Identify suitable solutions for clients by matching customer needs with ABB offerings.
    • Assist in the development and modification of engineering designs, drawings, and calculations.
    • Participate in design reviews and maintain accurate project documentation and version control.
    • Support and lead continuous improvement projects using standard engineering tools.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Electrical Engineering in the United States.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
    • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop solutions.
    • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

    • Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas.
    • Work Modality: On-site or hybrid.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Compensation: $20 to $34 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
    • Status: Full-time, paid internship.
