About the role#
This internship is a 12-week, full-time position located in San Jose, California. You will work within the robotics division to develop complex AI and simulation tools for industrial use. The primary goal is to reduce reliance on physical prototypes by closing the gap between simulation and real-world deployment.
What you'll do#
- Conduct robot simulations using RobotStudio HyperRealism.
- Develop AI and simulation workflows for industrial deployment at scale.
- Balance simulation fidelity with computational complexity.
- Create photorealistic synthetic datasets in 2D, 3D, and video formats for robotics applications.
- Integrate simulation into the design, development, and deployment process.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a PhD or master’s degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as Solidworks or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in simulation software including NVIDIA Isaac Sim, BlenderProc, or NVIDIA Omniverse.
- Exposure to automation and full-cell robotics simulation is preferred.
- Current work authorization that permits employment in the United States.
