About the role#
This internship provides practical experience in manufacturing engineering and documentation. You will work under the supervision of the Operations Manager to support daily tasks and contribute to ongoing projects. The role is designed to help you build professional skills while supporting ABB operations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with various teams to support operations and ensure project timelines are met.
- Identify solutions for clients by applying knowledge of customer needs and company offerings.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Seek feedback from your manager and team members to improve your performance.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Apply mathematical concepts, including geometry and trigonometry, to your work.
- Maintain a focus on safety and 5S standards, recommending corrections when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions using critical thinking.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to communicate ideas and share project updates with team members.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
- Requirements: You must have reliable transportation to the worksite and reside within a 50-mile radius of the office. No relocation assistance is provided.
