About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date. You will work on-site as part of our engineering design and analysis group to develop custom automation solutions and industrial products.
What you'll do#
- Apply scientific theory to engineering design to create new products.
- Build breadboards and refined prototypes.
- Communicate design solutions clearly to address client challenges.
- Collaborate with diverse teams including electrical engineers, optical engineers, and industrial designers.
- Learn quickly to contribute solutions in new technical fields.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, specifically Solidworks.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, sheet metal, and casting.
- Experience designing biomedical products.
- A broad technical background and a strong desire to learn.
