About the role#
This is a full-time internship within the Ride Engineering Studio. You will join a multidisciplinary team focused on developing control systems for Disney attractions. The role runs from January 2027 to June 2027 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to ride control system development, prototyping, simulation, or testing.
- Design, model, and analyze electrical, electronic, and data communication systems.
- Work alongside a mentor within a project or development team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Junior in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to implement basic control system designs.
- Experience with programmable controllers for machine control or robotics.
- Skill in performing electrical and electronic design calculations.
- Ability to prepare technical documents and CAD drawings.

- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $31 per hour for undergraduates, $36 per hour for graduate students.
