About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to provide analytic and consulting support across various lines of business, including Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment. You will work within a professional environment designed to increase your practical knowledge of operating areas while collaborating with other Industrial Engineers.
What you'll do#
- Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, focusing on operational planning support, workload planning, forecasting, capacity utilization, and process improvements.
- Apply appropriate methodologies and quantitative techniques, such as data collection, computer simulation, statistics, and process flow analysis.
- Lead and participate in team efforts, interfacing with all levels of cast and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after May 2027.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcript submission is required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A willingness to learn new software applications.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.
Location & details#
- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 through May 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $31 per hour.
- Schedule: Full availability required Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as project needs dictate.
- Requirements: Candidates must provide their own housing and reliable transportation to and from work and across the Disneyland Resort property.
