About the role#
As a Lab Intern, you will support laboratory operations at Valence Surface Technologies. You will assist with daily activities, safety protocols, and compliance requirements. This role contributes to our workforce development goals while providing hands-on experience in an industrial environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with core laboratory tasks and operations.
- Help maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Work on projects that support laboratory and workforce development objectives.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in or have graduated from a program in Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Engineering, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- You must be a U.S. person to comply with ITAR regulations.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Seattle, Washington.
- The position follows a rolling schedule with a duration of 3 to 6 months.
